Gallery Walk
Art, food, and artisan shops
schedule 1 min read / Updated Jun 2026
Stretching along Long Road in Eagle Heights, Gallery Walk is Tamborine Mountain's most famous tourist strip and home to more than 70 specialty stores, galleries, cafes, breweries, and boutiques. The precinct is free to explore and draws visitors seeking handcrafted goods, local art, craft fudge and chocolate, boutique fashion, and some of the best cafe fare in the Gold Coast hinterland.
The strip has a relaxed, village character that invites slow browsing. Highlights include the Tamborine Mountain Distillery, Fortitude Brewing, the local bakery, and a string of galleries featuring local and regional artists. Artisan food producers selling locally made jams, cheese, olive oil, and confectionery are spread throughout the precinct.
Most shops open around 10:00am and close between 4:00pm and 5:00pm daily, with the cafes often opening earlier for breakfast. The precinct is busiest on weekends when the car parks fill up quickly, so arriving before midday is recommended during school holidays and long weekends.
