The Gibb is a 660 kilometre unsealed cattle-station road that runs across the heart of the Kimberley from Derby in the west to the Great Northern Highway near Kununurra. Ten days lets you do it properly, with side trips to the gorges, waterfalls and cattle-station stays that make the trip worth the driving.

The Explorers Way
The Explorers Way follows the Stuart Highway from Adelaide to Darwin, a 3,000 kilometre sealed drive through the centre of the continent. It passes through the Flinders Ranges, Coober Pedy, Uluru, Alice Springs, the Devils Marbles, Katherine and Kakadu. It is the most accessible way to drive across the full north-south axis of Australia.
