Eumundi Markets
Queensland's original artisan market
schedule 1 min read / Updated Jun 2026
The Original Eumundi Markets at 80 Memorial Drive are among Australia's most celebrated open-air markets, drawing visitors from across Queensland and beyond every Wednesday and Saturday. Over 600 stalls fill the heritage township of Eumundi with handcrafted jewellery, ceramics, clothing, artwork, fresh produce and a remarkable variety of street food and live music.
Trading rain, hail or shine since 1979, the markets have grown into a major cultural event that feels genuinely local rather than tourist-driven. Artisans make and sell on the spot, and many stall holders have been part of the community for decades. Live musicians perform throughout the market grounds, adding to the relaxed, village-green atmosphere.
The Saturday market is the larger of the two, typically running from 7am to 2pm alongside the broader Eumundi village precinct with its cafes, galleries and boutiques. Wednesday sessions are quieter and draw a loyal local crowd. Entry to the markets is free. The town of Eumundi is a short drive from Noosa and Coolum.
