Nyerimilang Heritage Park occupies 180 hectares of clifftop and lakeside land at Nungurner, about 10 kilometres north-west of Lakes Entrance, offering some of the most sweeping views across the Gippsland Lakes anywhere in the region. A restored 19th-century homestead sits at the centre of the estate, surrounded by heritage gardens, bush walking tracks and an East Gippsland indigenous plant garden.

The homestead was built in the 1880s and became a pastoral property overlooking Bancroft Bay and Lake King. Today Parks Victoria manages the reserve jointly with a volunteer group who operate the gift shop and open the historic homestead for visitors, typically between 10am and 3pm when volunteers are on duty. It is worth calling ahead to confirm opening times before making the trip.

Five signed walking tracks range from 0.75 to 1.7 kilometres in length and wind through remnant bushland, past bird observation hides and along the cliff edge above the lakes. The Cliff Top Track in particular rewards walkers with panoramic views across the water. Native parrots, honeyeaters and waterbirds are commonly seen throughout the park, and the grounds attract photographers at sunrise and sunset.

Entry to the park is free and picnic facilities, electric barbecues and accessible toilets are available near the homestead. Camping is not permitted within the reserve.
