Hope Estate is a sprawling property that combines a working winery, craft brewery and small-batch distillery under one roof, offering visitors far more than a single cellar door experience. The estate is home to one of Australia's largest purpose-built outdoor concert amphitheatres, and its programme of headline music events has made Hope Estate a cultural landmark in the Hunter Valley.
The cellar door showcases Hope Estate's full range of estate wines alongside the brewery's award-winning craft beers and spirits from the in-house distillery. Whether you prefer a Hunter semillon, an IPA or a barrel-aged gin, the tasting room has you covered. The sprawling grounds, vineyard outlooks and relaxed atmosphere make it an excellent base for a long afternoon.
Hope Estate's concert amphitheatre has hosted some of Australia's biggest live music acts and international touring artists. Checking the events calendar before visiting is worthwhile, a live concert under the Hunter Valley stars while surrounded by vines is a genuinely memorable experience. The estate is open Wednesday through Sunday, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
