The Hunter Valley Chocolate Company has been operating for more than 25 years, earning its reputation as the original artisan chocolate destination in Pokolbin. The factory and showroom on Broke Road produces handcrafted chocolates, gourmet fudge and a rotating range of seasonal confections, all available to taste and purchase on-site at prices that make it nearly impossible to leave empty-handed.
The main shop at 2320 Broke Road doubles as a cafe, serving specialty coffees and desserts paired with the house chocolate creations. Visitors can browse a full range of cabinet chocolates, pralines, truffles, bark and fudge, with guided tastings available on request for a small fee, bookings are recommended for groups. The relaxed atmosphere and generous sample culture make this a favourite stop for families and sweet-toothed visitors of all ages.
The open-plan retail area gives a clear view of the craft at work. With the Hunter Valley Gardens, Tempus Two and several cellar doors all within a short drive, the Chocolate Company fits naturally into a full day of eating and drinking your way through Pokolbin.
