Set in a former bacon factory in Woodside, Melba's is a working chocolate and confectionery factory where visitors can watch sweets being made the traditional way and sample as they go, free of charge.
Melba's has been making chocolate and honeycomb in the Adelaide Hills since 1981, using vintage equipment and time-honoured methods. A viewing area lets visitors watch the chocolatiers at work, and the adjoining shop sells the full range straight from the factory floor.
It sits within the Woodside complex alongside the Heritage Cheese makers, making it an easy combined stop on a Hills food trail.
