Scotchmans Hill is widely regarded as the benchmark winery of the Bellarine Peninsula, producing cool-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and a Mediterranean varietal range under its Solé label from vines on the rolling hills above Drysdale. The cellar door offers guided seated tastings seven days a week, with sweeping views across the vineyard towards Port Phillip Bay. The venue is exclusively an adult experience for visitors aged 18 and over.

Standard tastings feature five wines from the current vintage for $20 per person, while the premium tasting option explores six wines from the flagship range for $30. Both experiences are conducted by knowledgeable staff who take visitors through the nuances of cool-climate viticulture on the Bellarine. Artisanal cheese boards are available to complement the tasting, and the tasting fee is waived on the purchase of retail takeaway wines.

Private and group tastings can be hosted in The Loft, a dedicated space above the cellar door accommodating up to 16 guests. A rotating selection of museum wines - rare older vintages from the estate cellar - is also available for those wanting to explore how Bellarine wines develop with age. The cellar door closes only on Christmas Day, making it one of the most consistently accessible wine experiences on the peninsula.
