Wirra Wirra is one of McLaren Vale's most beloved family wineries, its roots stretching back to 1894. Set among towering gum trees and organic vines on Strout Road, the cellar door is a relaxed, welcoming place to work through flights of outstanding Grenache, Shiraz, and whites. The adjoining Harry's Deli serves a seasonally inspired menu that pairs perfectly with the estate's bottles.

The winery was revived in 1969 by the late Greg Trott and today is recognised as a pillar of the McLaren Vale community. Visitors can choose from several curated tasting flights covering everything from the approachable house whites through to the flagship Church Block Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Behind-the-scenes winery tours reveal the historic ironstone cellars and the famous Angelus Bell, which Trott would ring at the end of every harvest.

Wirra Wirra was a Global Winner of the Great Wine Capitals Best of Wine Tourism Award. The estate's combination of heritage, hospitality, and genuinely excellent wine keeps it at the top of most visitors' McLaren Vale itineraries.
