Tjaynera Falls, also known as Sandy Creek Falls, drops into a large, deep plunge pool on Sandy Creek in the western section of Litchfield National Park. Access requires a high-clearance 4WD via the Reynolds Track, placing it among the park's more rewarding off-road destinations and rewarding those who make the effort with far fewer crowds than the main 2WD sites.

The 3.4-kilometre return walk to the falls winds along the creek through monsoon rainforest and past a hillside dense with cycads before opening onto the plunge pool. Allow around one and a half hours return. The walk is graded moderate and involves creek crossings that may be slippery. Swimming in the pool is the main draw, as the water is clear and the setting is exceptionally peaceful.

Tjaynera Falls campground, a bush camp with toilet and shower facilities, is located nearby and operates with a campground host during peak season from May to September. The site is part of the Reynolds Track route that connects Tolmer Falls and Wangi Falls through the park's western interior.

The site closes during the wet season due to impassable creek crossings. Always check nt.gov.au for current track conditions before attempting the Reynolds Track, as conditions change rapidly with rainfall. An NT Parks Visitor Pass is required.
