Voyager Estate
Cape Dutch grandeur and wine
schedule 1 min read / Updated Jun 2026
Voyager Estate is a family-owned winery and restaurant set on 110 hectares in the Wallcliffe sub-region of Margaret River. Its Cape Dutch architecture, manicured rose gardens, and sweeping vineyard views set it apart visually, while its Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon blends have earned consistent five-star ratings from James Halliday.
The Wine Room opens at 10am and offers seated tastings across the estate's full portfolio, from the flagship Tom Price Cabernet Sauvignon through to late-harvest dessert styles. Tasting fees are modest and waived when you purchase wine. The garden walk between the car park and cellar door, lined with heritage roses and clipped hedges, is a photo opportunity in its own right.
The restaurant operates Wednesday to Sunday and offers a long-lunch format focused on seasonal produce from the estate's kitchen garden and local South West suppliers. The set menu can be taken with or without matched wines from the estate, and bookings are recommended well in advance, particularly for weekends.
Voyager Estate has been progressively converting its vineyards to certified biodynamic practice and is a founding member of the Margaret River wine region's sustainability charter, giving visitors a genuine story behind the glass as well as elegant surroundings.
