Wonky Windmill Farm and Eco Park
Feed friendly farm animals
schedule 1 min read / Updated Jun 2026
Set on 130 acres of bushland in Yelverton, about 25 minutes from Busselton, Wonky Windmill Farm and Eco Park is one of the most popular family day trips in the south-west. Visitors wander through paddocks meeting and hand-feeding a wide variety of animals, from lambs, goats, and alpacas to emus, deer, and kangaroos, all in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by native bush.
Entry includes two bags of animal feed, which keeps the animals friendly and engaged with visitors throughout the day. The farm hosts bottle-feeding sessions for lambs and other young animals, and the small creatures area lets young children get close to rabbits and guinea pigs. The shaded lawns and picnic areas make it easy to spend several hours on the property.
Beyond the animals, the farm produces its own jams, preserves, olives, and extra virgin olive oil, all available to taste and purchase from the farm shop. Seasonal fruit picking is offered at an additional cost depending on what is in season. A farm cafe serves freshly baked scones, coffee, and light meals, and the whole property is wheelchair accessible through to the main animal areas.
Wonky Windmill is well suited to children's birthday parties and school groups, with package options available by prior arrangement. The surrounding bushland property gives the visit a genuinely rural atmosphere that distinguishes it from urban zoo-style attractions.
