Leliyn, known in English as Edith Falls, is a series of cascading waterfalls and natural swimming holes set within Nitmiluk National Park, about 60 kilometres north of Katherine. Fed by the Edith River, the plunge pool and upper pools are fringed by paperbarks and pandanus, offering one of the Top End's most beautiful and accessible bush-swimming experiences. Short walking trails connect the pools through shaded tropical woodland.

The main plunge pool sits just a few minutes' walk from the car park and kiosk, making it ideal for families and those wanting a quick dip. For more solitude, the Leliyn Loop Walk winds up to a middle pool and a scenic lookout before returning via the upper pool, a 2.6-kilometre circuit taking around one to two hours. A longer trail continues to Sweetwater Pool, a remote and peaceful spot reached by a return walk of approximately 8.6 kilometres.

Facilities at Leliyn include gas barbecues, picnic tables, toilets, showers, and a kiosk selling cold drinks, ice cream, and basic food supplies. A campground near the car park offers powered and unpowered sites with modern amenities, while Sweetwater Campground provides a more rugged bush experience for walkers.

The swimming holes close during periods of high water and strong currents in the wet season, typically from around November through to mid-year. Always check current conditions via the NT Parks website before visiting. An NT Parks Visitor Pass is required for entry.
